Birthday Celebrations and New Showroom Launch!

Good Morning! We'd like to say a big thank you to all those who wished us a Happy Birthday and were able to join us in the showroom on Saturday to celebrate! We had a great time and a lovely response to our new furniture ranges which was great to hear.

The Best of January!

The beginning of 2015 has seen the start of a busy time for us with the launch of our new furniture ranges, the continuation of our showroom refurbishment and winter sale and it's also our 15th Anniversary this month! We will be celebrating on Saturday 31st January from 1pm so do pop into the showroom for some nibbles and a glass of bubbly whilst you have a look around our beautiful new furniture displays. 

 

As if that wasn't enough news! We're also thrilled to announce that we've now been recommended by The Best of Hitchin! We're excited to be even more involved in the local business community and look forward to making new friends and working together united in our passion to see Hitchin grow and prosper.

Happy New Year!

Wishing you a great start to 2015!

 

We're back at it in the showroom and have lots of exciting things happening! The refurbishment of the showroom continues with displays of our new furniture ranges being installed.

 

It's also a special year for us as it's our 15 year anniversary! Which we will be celebrating throughout January with the continuation of our winter sale and we will be holding a joint birthday and new showroom launch party on the 31st January! So look out for further details.

Well what another busy year it's been! We've been lucky enough to work on some amazing projects and meet some lovely new clients.

 

 Our showroom has evolved to reflect the new next125 and 'C' Collection ranges which we are now offering and have been well received and we're excited to work on more of these ranges in the new year.

 

Over the festive period we will be closed from 12pm on Tuesday 23rd December and will re-open on Monday 5th January.

 

We'd like to take this opportunity to wish all our Customers past and present a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

 

 

Window Treatment Ideas For Your Home

 As you know here at Planet we love nothing more than designing fabulous furniture to suit your home! Once we have finished our part, we're often asked to recommend a place which can help with the interior furnishings and this is where our friends at Gilroy Interiors come in.

We're probably asked the most about paint and window treatments, windows are often the focus of a room and with so many furnishing options available its hard to know where to start. Gilroy Interiors have a beautiful showroom based in the market square in Hitchin and will help and guide you through the number of choices available. They have been kind enough to share with us below some inspirational photo's based on different window types.

This pretty roman blind draws your eye and is perfect in this country style kitchen.

The pretty fabrics are also continued on the table and seat cushions, bringing the whole scheme together.

 Folding sliding doors are still so popular and can be dressed in a variety of ways such as with a beautiful single curtain on a hidden track..

or these overlapping fabric panels are a striking alternative.

  The pretty sheer patterned roller blind is perfect for these french doors and still allows light through giving a soft effect.

And finally we thought we would include our own shutters here in the showroom which were also from Gilroy Interiors and we're very happy with them! Shutters are a really popular option and can work in both a traditional and contemporary setting with their smart and clean look.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

We would like to say a big thank you to all those who came to our Macmillan Coffee Morning last week. We managed to raise over £250 so we are really thrilled and we had a lot of fun (and cake!) in the process!

As you can see there were plenty of delicious treats to choose from and we'd like to thank our bakers who contributed!

Coming Soon! New Contemporary Kitchen Range

Things have been pretty busy here at Planet of late! We've been lucky enough to have been working on lots of lovely projects and we're currently in the middle of an exciting showroom refurbishment to make way for some new furniture that we can't wait to tell you about!

In addition to our handmade furniture we have decided to expand our contemporary range and in conjuction with a German manufacturer will be offering an exciting new product, some examples of which you can see below.

The stylish new range is built to the highest standards and features all the latest technologies that you would expect from your kitchen. There is a large selection of stunning door styles on offer which allows for endless design possibilities and options in a range of superior materials and finishes.
