Beautiful Storm Grey Shaker Kitchen

We have one of our recently completed projects to share with you today. This storm grey shaker kitchen is part of a beautiful new extension which provides a perfect family space to gather and entertain.

The lay-on style furniture is painted in the wonderfully muted tones of Farrow and Ball with the perimeter cabinets in Pavillion Grey and the island painted in Mole's Breath. The 30mm Caesarstone Osprey worksurfaces contrast beautifully with the rest of the kitchen.

Below you can see the beautiful light flooded extension with its large folding, sliding doors to the garden and roof lights.

The stainless steel appliances are from Neff apart from the wine fridge which is from Caple. The cabinet handles and knobs are chrome.

The Franke Ariane undermounted sink is complimented with a Franke Eiger tap and a Quooker Design boiling hot water tap. The island is given extra focus with these simple hanging pendant lights and the under pelmet cabinet lighting gives a subtle wash of colour to the kitchen back wall.

We hope you like this kitchen? If you have a furniture project you'd like to discuss whether it be domestic or commercial then please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Cool, Calm and Collected Kitchen

We wanted to share a cool, calm and collected Kitchen with you today situated in a wonderful space full of character.

The cabinets are lay-on shaker in style, hand-painted in Pearl Ashes (also an Aga colour) with stunning Silestone Bianco Rivers work surfaces.

The accents of stainless steel and chrome feature throughout the area, including the smart ironmongery from Hafele. The triple fridge unit is from John Lewis and we designed the surrounding piece of furniture specifically to house this.

Below is the Franke Rotondo ceramic undermounted sink in the island which is complimented by the Perrin & Rowe Phoenician Mixer Tap.

The large kitchen area is further accentuated by the tall vaulted ceiling with stunning oak beams. The back wall features two Neff CircoTherm built-under ovens with a Neff Flexinduction hob and the bespoke canopy holds the Miele integrated extractor neatly.

Light floods through the beautiful arched window below.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on this kitchen. If you would be interested in finding out more about us and how we can help you with a future project then please get in touch.

Beautiful Retro Inspired Kitchen

We thought we'd share a beautiful retro inspired kitchen with you today. The brief was to create a simplistic but stylish space for the family to cook, entertain and relax in.

The kitchen is lay-on style with flat painted doors featuring push catch opening mechanisms to the wall units. The end panels, plinth and cornice are walnut which provides some contrast and warmth to the otherwise muted colour scheme of grey and white.

Not having handles on the wall units gives a clean and streamlined look to the cabinets.

The doors fold open towards the ceiling to reveal the cabinet interior, no banging your head on the wall cupboard doors in this kitchen!

The base units have beautifully simple stainless steel handles. The hob is flush fitted into the worktop with the extractor neatly housed in the wall unit above. A bank of tall ovens ensures ample cooking space, the stainless steel finish in keeping with the contemporary feel throughout.

The chunky Corian worktop is formed into a large breakfast bar area ideal for casual dining or food preparation.

The tall cabinets below provide plenty of storage..

but they also slide open to reveal something else..

a hidden desk area! With internal shelving and compartments for keeping paperwork.

The beautiful copper bowl light provides a stunning focal point over the bar area with the orange blinds complimenting the warm tones within the walnut.

The grey glass splashback is a great alternative to tiling and reflects the light beautifully.

So what are your thoughts on this kitchen? Do you like the handle-less look? Would you benefit from a desk area in your own kitchen? We'd love to know what you think.

Small & Stylish Handpainted Kitchen

We thought we would share a slightly different project with you today, a kitchen housed in a Victorian rental property. The Client wanted a practical and hard wearing space but still wanted it to be stylish so we designed the kitchen with this in mind.

The furniture is lay-on in style and hand painted in a beautiful subtle grey colour. The combination of solid doors and painted finish is ideal in a rental property as it can be touched up if it does get marked or scratched over time.

The stainless steel appliances and dark granite work surface were also chosen for their durability but look great too! Although the space is small we still managed to squeeze in a staved walnut breakfast bar at the end of the sink run.

Here are a few more detailed shots.

We have worked on a variety of commercial projects including rentals, property developments, shops and offices so if you have a project you would like to discuss, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Beautiful Family Kitchen Perfect for Entertaining

With the beautiful weather we're having at the moment we thought we would share with you one of our kitchens which was designed with outdoor entertaining in mind. The Client and their young family wanted a warm and inviting space where the main aim was to cater for large family gatherings. The previous kitchen area was completely remodelled and a large set of folding sliding doors were installed to help blur the boundaries between inside and out.

The kitchen is based around a large central 'L' shaped island with working area on one side and seating and storage on the other. The kitchen is lay-on in style and is finished in a mixture of handpainted Farrow & Ball London Stone and walnut veneer teamed with staved walnut worktop and ivory brown granite which gives the large space a warm feel.

The Siemens induction hob sits flush with the granite worktop with the Elica extractor above.

This photo shows the beautiful grain in the ivory brown granite and the raised walnut area of the island is perfect place for a coffee whilst enjoying the views to the garden. The Franke Swiss Pro tap also makes a real statement along with the Franke sink. We also fitted the bench seat which can be seen under the window.

The Siemens single oven and steam oven fit neatly into the walnut perimeter furniture along with the stunning full height wine cooler unit.

The staved walnut chopping block was integrated into the island and mirrors the shape of the units underneath.

A Beautiful Family Kitchen Inspired by Nature

We've got a beautiful family kitchen for you today, that takes it's inspiration from the outdoors with it's mix of earthy colours and natural materials. The setting: a new extension within a period property in a picturesque village location.

The client wanted to create a calm and light space for the family to gather, dine and relax. The new extension opened up the existing kitchen space to provide a large kitchen and dining area complete with comfy sofa's and folding sliding doors to the garden.

The in-frame style kitchen is based around a central island and hand painted in the muted tones of Slipper Satin and London Stone from Farrow and Ball.

The curved furniture allows the kitchen to flow and maximises storage space.

The island worktop is planked oak, the grain leading your eye to the beautiful garden views.

The Neff appliances and polished Emerald Pearl granite work surface to the sink run contrast beautifully with the light cabinets and stone tiled floor. The stainless steel elements such as the Franke Panto Tap, Blanco Supreme sink, pendant lights and handles help to tie the whole scheme together.

It's all in the detail: cockbead framed drawers with hammered britannium cup handles.
